Dr. Craig Layton
Dr. Craig Layton was born in London, England while his father was serving in the united states air force, however was raised and went to school in the San Luis Valley, growing up in Manassa, Colorado.
He graduated from Dental School at Colorado University with clinical honors. Receiving awards from the Colorado Prosthodontic Society and the National Academy of Restorative Dentists.
Following Dental School Dr. Layton was in private practiced for seventeen years in Cortez, Colorado where he raised two children. His most recent endeavor has been working on the Navajo Reservation with a non-profit organization serving the Navajo people for the past 8 years.
He is also a part-time Instructor at the Dental Hygiene School at San Juan College. Dr. Layton loves being a Dentist and his biggest thrill is helping otherwise discouraged patients, realize that there is always a way to fix their smile.
He enjoys the outdoors in any form, skiing and snowboarding, scuba and is an avid saltwater fisherman. If he’s not at the office you probably won’t find him at home either.
