Dr. Blaine Milne has been practicing dentistry since 2001, having graduated with high honors from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. During his fifteen years as a general dentist Dr. Milne has completed 4.5 years of formal advanced dental education which included a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the US Army, and a 3.5 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) residency program at the University of Minnesota. He also served two additional years in the US Army Dental Corps in which he spent the majority of his time preparing our military troops for active-duty service in Iraq and taking emergency call for the military base hospital. Dr. Milne’s remaining dental years have been in private practice settings in which he has used his extensive training to deliver the highest quality of dental care to his patients. He has become highly proficient in wisdom teeth removal, IV sedation dentistry, dental implants, sinus lifts, bone grafting, and advanced crown and bridge techniques.
Dr. Milne loves dentistry almost as much as he loves his patients. He takes pride in establishing long-term relationships with his patients based on mutual trust, respect, and honesty. He always strives to offer the best possible treatment plan to insure optimal oral health over the patient’s life-span. Dr. Milne stays current on the latest dental procedures, techniques, and products through continuing education courses and his affiliation with several professional organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), and the Academy of LDS Dentists.
Dr. Milne is also actively involved in his community. He has coached many different athletic teams and has served in various capacities in his church congregation. Dr. Milne loves the outdoors, US and World History, Sports, and spending time with his wife and three sons.
